when you find an orgy of love-making in your front yard pool.

Beautiful day today! It's really hard to concentrate on writing about streets, intersections, public squares, and people using it (or not).

So I opened all windows in the living room to let in some fresh breeze... and while I look out of the window my gaze came to rest on the little fish pond in the front yard. It usually contains 8 goldfishes. Well, and one ore two frogs - as I thought I've seen hibernating through the winter. Well, it's not one or two... It's at least 12 (highlighted in yellow below) ...

And not only that! Someone sneaked in another goldfish!! A little black guy with orange dots is swimming among our other 8 fishies..

Now, does anyone know when the maximum of frogs is reached and the pond will finally collapse? The fishes certainly seem to know what the frogs where "doing" they were all swimming rather close to them, probably waiting for some spawn to fall off...

Well, back to my paper now...

so it should of course be "FROGS-PORN"

Spring may have been in the air, but I have a feeling winter just let it peak it's head out of the door so it could pounce on spring and beat it too a bloody pulp!

Why is that strange? by ucblockhead (4.00 / 1) #8 Thu Feb 24, 2011 at 03:12:54 PM EST
A couple weeks ago we opened up the house to enjoy the early spring breeze.  Isn't that normal?

Perhaps... by ana (4.00 / 1) #5 Thu Feb 24, 2011 at 01:00:25 PM EST
toxicfur will tell this story. When she lived in NC, it was near a pond in the storm drainage system. There were bullfrogs. Her youngest cat, quite the hunter, brought in specimens of all stages of the life cycle of the bullfrog, and presented them in due season, dead on the mat.

Frog Porn by belldandi (4.00 / 1) #7 Thu Feb 24, 2011 at 02:06:05 PM EST
When I was growing up, in the woods near our house there was a pond that was the ultimate frog pond; it was so thickly populated with frog spawn that it was just like a slime hole. It also had a really nice vine hanging over the bank that you could use to swing out and drop in the middle of it... I remember my brothers coming home covered in frog part goo and having to be hosed off before they were allowed into the house to shower.
