It took me about 1:37:23 by johnny (4.00 / 3) #2 Mon Oct 31, 2011 at 06:47:15 PM EST
to walk with my wife to her office this morning, with one brief stop en route, and then walk home. Total distance about four miles.

On the other hand, I had with me, on a leash, one asshole dog who has only 2 missions in life: (1) smell everything, (2) tear [johnny's] two arms from his shoulders.

You have my deep respect. Now, tell me your address so I can send you the dog.

She has effectively checked out. She's an un-person of her own making. So it falls to me.--ad hoc (in the hole)

well done, truly an impressive achievement... how long have you been running for, it doesn't seem like long ago at all that you started?

why sit, when you can sit and swivel with The Ab-SwivellerTM
Around 10 months training by codemonkey uk (2.00 / 0) #4 Tue Nov 01, 2011 at 08:19:08 AM EST
Started training with a 1k run in late January, then stuck pretty solidly (illness and injury aside) with 3 runs a week, every week, gradually increasing the distance each week.
