Since they'd offered him exile one would have thought they'd have kicked him over the border, or arrested him and put him on trial, or perhaps better exported him to The Hague on the arrest warrant for war crimes.

Personally, I'm more surprised when fallen dictators get even the semblance of a fair trial.
