Print Story I'm tired and I don't feel good.
Diary

My tummy is upset. Of course making chili for dinner didn't help. What was I thinking?

I had to work tonight. Stupid me, accidently dropped a box on my hand. It wasn't heavy enough to do any real damage but it still hurts. I know I bruised it.

so now I have a bruised hand and upset tummy and I am very tired. Blah

I finished reading all the Vampire Academy books that are out. Of course it ended on a big, huge cliff hanger.  I dislike the waiting. My neighbor, who I pet sat for, gave me a $50 gift card to Books-A-Million. So I couldn't wait on the last book Spirit Bound by Richelle Mead.  Then I didn't want to wait anymore for Bullet by Laurell K Hamilton; so I bought it too. I was a little disappointed with that book's ending. This is the second book (out of 20 published books) that I have read, that the ending felt rushed. It was like she ran out of time and the publisher said to her, "hey, we need to send this to the printing presses now. Finish it up."  There were a lot of unresolved issues at the end. Unlike Richelle Mead and Jim Butcher's latest and greatest which both ended in big cliff hangers. Hers sort of went like the bad guy, Padma, was taken care (no details) and she became Tiger Master (still no details or big deal made of new powers) and the other really bad guys, Mother of All Darkness and Lover of Death, got away and are hiding. That is pretty much how she summed it up in 2 pages. Real let down. I hope the next book explains a lot of that stuff.

Other than that, I have nothing pressing that I really want (need) to read. There is a new MaryJanice Davidson book coming out about Betsy the Vampire Queen, but I am not completely keen about reading it. I love the character, Betsy. And I love most of where she is heading as a character, but I am not keen on reading about her character's half-sister, Laura, embracing her demon side. Laura is a product of Betsy's dad and devil possessed step-mom. She is destined to be the Anti-Christ in a pre-determined prophecy where the Vampire Queen has to stop the Anti-child from end-of-the-world destruction. I don't want to see Batsy and Laura fight. Stupid but I like them both.

Before I left the house this evening to go to work, I cooked dinner (chili and rice) and cleaned up the kitchen (we have been having a nat problem inside).  A clean kitchen takes away the attraction for nats.  So I come home 4 1/2 hours later from straight physical labor, see my kitchen messy (nats everywhere) and barely any food left for me.  Just great. That is my life and I should know better. And he calls me the slob.
