These specific tax cheats being the shrimpers etc in the Gulf who run an all 'cash' business.  I pay my taxes, I get no refunds.  You too could at least pay your taxes, or if not please don't whine that you can't get a payout from BP.  Pay your taxes.

Come home from work today and I have no parking spot.  The lot is being sealed and our spots were repaved.  So  park on the street.  Then I go to the gum and see that I could park on the alley behind the place safely and out of the way.  I go to the gym for 45 minutes, and come back and someone else is there.  There are only 3 apartments, and yet four cars?

Also come home to my sink not fixed.  No message on the machine.  So I guess I'll be calling the landlord tomorrow to see what is up with that.  In that call I'll also tell him that the dudes sealing the parking lot somehow managed to bust up the first step.  And the clothes line is down as well.

Work has been slow.  Like really slow.  So today I opened my mouth and volunteered for something that may get me quite busy, and quite busy with Drupal.  In fact it fucking scares me to think about it, but I really would love for it to come together, as it will actually allow me to advance my career.  I asked for a specification and was told there would not be one.  In fact most likely all the work I'll do in research and proposing will not be used at all.  I have to do this though, because I just can't listen to music all day long.

Not sure what's going on with this weekend.  I'm assuming that PhotogGal is still in MD with her sister helping with their move.  It's supposed to be on the 90s on Sunday so that should be fun to bike in.

Other than that I've got nothing.

All the "independent compensation fund" should do to avoid being ripped off, is state that it will pay compensation equivalent to their last years declared taxable income...
