Using a 600mHz processor, so I can't go with the high end stuff.  Nevertheless, what a beautiful operating system.  And as of this moment, I apologise to every single person I have ever mocked for using the apt upgrade system.  Just fucking brilliant stuff, it is.

Try as hard as I can, I haven't yet crashed this system.  Well, almost as hard as I can.  I really don't want to crash this computer.  He's working very well, and I don't want to hurt his feelings.  Such a trooper in the face of my insistence of visiting such sites as and postsecret.

I have two machines running Gentoo and KDE.  One is a 800Mhz and the other is a 266Mhz Pentium Pro.

I actually, kinda sorta "know" jay. In that "he's read my blog and was my fb friend until he deleted his account" kinda way.

Crashing by lb008d (4.00 / 1) #4 Sun May 16, 2010 at 10:35:43 AM EST
Both 8 and 9 froze up solid infrequently in day-to-day use for me. Apparently it's around X and Intel video drivers.

I'm hoping that 10 will work better. Vista has never froze or crashed but it isn't as fun to use, for sure.

I've liked apt since I first used Debian by wiredog (4.00 / 1) #8 Mon May 17, 2010 at 08:27:01 AM EST
