Tax Deal.

Had my 6 month dental exam today.  I actually kept the appointment.  One because I really do want to keep ahead of dental issues now, and two, the crown 5 year warranty is only valid if I do the 6 month checkups.

I was anxious but not so bad as before.  The hygienist was fast and efficient.  Told the dentist about some irritation with a tooth after eating say ham or whatnot.  He examined it and was not happy with the gap that was there.  So that's scheduled for a filling in January.  Anxious a bit but in the end it will be better.  I had tooth discomfort and bleeding of the gums for 2 days after eating that ham.

Gums are pinker than they were before the cleaning. This pleases me, as they were kind red not swollen but not healthy.  They're getting healthier now.

Appointment for the filling was made in 2011 so my insurance can cover it, as I've been maxed out now.  This practice accommodates that and getting me appointments during my lunch hour so I don't have to take time off or make up the time.

I see the deal is in and not only are we getting the old tax cut but a new one as well! They say that doing it with the payroll tax will be better as people will spend that more easily and stimulate the economy.  Well not me.  January 1, I'm bumping my 401k contribution up another 2% Hah!  I'm saving, you can't make me spend!

Well I'll spend too but only because I've budgeted for some spending. (See what I did there.)

I was going to watch FoxNews tonight but didn't feel like listening to a bunch of Tea Bagger's whine about the deficit getting bigger.  Which I am sure they're doing right this minute.

Going to crunch the numbers and see if I meet the 7.5% floor on medical expenses.  I don't think I will, I need to find all my paperwork though.

I'm reading the first volume of Bloom County and I get to this page that highlights the year 1981.  First tidbit was PRIME RATE:20%, Economy worst since Depression.  Damn 30 years on, and while prime is no where near 20%, the economy sure ain't booming.

To be fair one of the other highlights was the Royal Wedding.  We all know how that turned out.

Apparently Wesley Snipes is being housed in the Federal Pen in Pennsylvania?  We've had Marion Barry at one point as well. ( FCI Loretto, right next to a nice University.)

Anyway.  Currently 28.9 degrees outside and only to get lower.  Off to get under that comforter!

But aren't they all controlled by one big bagger?
Or something.
