Went home via a large department store to check out the plasma TVs. Still trying to work out whether viewing a 50" from 10-11 feet away in a small room is going to be a problem.
Supposedly it shouldn't be, but those things are huge. I think I am just going to order it, and sell the apartment if it turns out to be too dominant for the room...

Deciding which blu-ray movies to get hold of too. Think it will probably be Mike Judge's 'Extract' and 'District 9' to begin with.
I currently am waiting for a load of Jean Claude Brisseau DVDs to arrive after enjoying "Choses secrètes" the other day. I highly recommend it. According to IMDB "The delectably twisted fable centers on two penniless but shapely young women who set out to better their social station by manipulating men."

I hope my choice of viewing material does not come across as being 'trollish'...

With my ex, the lap dancer, in London

It's a very funny film by dmg (2.00 / 0) #2 Thu Jan 07, 2010 at 06:11:11 PM EST
I would highly recommend it. It's darkly comic.

As long as you aren't watching SD content it should be OK.
