Culture-fair IQ tests put them at avg. 70 IQ. Their academic achievement is horrifically bad - the percentage completing secondary school is in single digits in most countries - and their unemployment rates often top 40%. You can imagine what the crime rates, birth rates, and income stats look like.

The only country that's had any success at all with them is Finland. The Finns have basically constructed a completely parallel welfare and education system that deals exclusively with Gypsies. The Gypsies are only about a quarter of one percent of the Finnish population, so this was a lot more doable in Finland than elsewhere; in any case, it's just starting to work now after years in place, and it's going to have to be a 100-year project.
