I went to The Hopleaf last night. Lots of Belgian beers on tap. Something just ain't right with me this morning.

We were out until 1, I pretty much came right from the gym and didn't really eat dinner. Immediately before The Hopleaf, we had a very delicate and rare green tea. We all talked about many great things, including how awesome R and I are for each other.

I was just about to finish my sets of squats when my friend called me saying he was leaving earlier than we had earlier agreed on, so I did my last set, threw the bar around a little bit overhead, and ran home. I saw this guy benching 385#. That was pretty intense. I think that may be the biggest - not in poundage, but in comparison to standards - lift I've seen lately. I mean, I've seen more pounds being deadlifted lately, but a 455# deadlift isn't as impressive, you know? Unless it's a girl or a 150# guy or something.

I want to take a nap.

This friggin' survey is turning into a pile of shoddy nonsense. It's... I'll just stop commenting.

I really need to get hooked up to the internet at home. I have a lot of stuff to do on my own time that requires internet connection, my own personal computer, and plenty of time for poking around. I'm too honest to do it all at work. One prerequisite: time at home! I am seriously busy these days. I really need some time at home. R is working tonight and we have no plans for the day tomorrow, so I can get some stuff done. She's quite fantastic.

Okay, I think eating something substantive with vegetables and such in it will probably be good for me. It will set things right with the world.

Oh, good grief, I just got the idea to have "Never Gonna Give You Up" played at the reception. Rickrolling 267 people at once: always a good idea. Well, not 267...

a 135 lb man, with a bench suit, bench 405.. I've seen plenty of 250lb guys do high 300s, but the 135lb guy.. Impressive..

Granted, short arms means he didn't have to move it to far, and he was using a bench suit.. But still..

Internet at home by ad hoc (2.00 / 0) #2 Fri Aug 07, 2009 at 01:15:00 PM EST
I hear there's a company called "AOL" or something where you can access the internet with a telephone!

What'll they think of next?

Have I made a big mistake? by gzt (2.00 / 0) #5 Fri Aug 07, 2009 at 03:30:24 PM EST
I suggested it to R and she was completely unfamiliar with the idea. I'm not sure what to make of this. Have I been fooling myself? First Ubuntu vs Kubuntu, now this?

Then again, it probably just means she's made better use of her life than me. There's only one solution: I have to rickroll her.
