The problem isn't that an industry is paying large bonuses. The problem is that the industry has accepted incredibly vast sums of taxpayer's money to pay those bonuses.

As I've said before, finance is the new coal: an oversized, unviable industry propped up by government subsidy. Even though they regularly turn to a workplace, we shouldn't be blinded to the fact that city "workers" are essentially benefits scroungers.
