I just tossed my new company's startup paperwork in the mail.

With a check, naturally.  These things aren't free, although I'll admit they were surprisingly cheap.

Our chosen name came back clean.  Our_chosen_name.com is being cybersquatted, which was to be expected.  We did, however, claim a rather nice alternative that Webby and I were both surprised to find available.  We're not planning on doing any business until August or so, which gives us time to develop some basic product, but I had a fuck it moment and put everything together.  I guess now we'll be official while we make preparations over the next month-and-a-half or so.  That'll help out with a few things.

What we will be doing long-term won't be discussed here, because we've so far been unable to find someone else doing it.  Most of what we will be doing at launch is being done elsewhere, but we will be targeting a (mostly) untapped market.

All this makes me feel better about The Boss' douchebaggery today.  I could bitch for a couple of paragraphs, but I don't have the energy.

I'm got $10 on combination World of Warcraft leveling/escort service. The slogan: "Level your Alt while grinding".

I thought you were suggesting in-game hookers. by mrgoat (4.00 / 4) #3 Wed Jun 10, 2009 at 05:00:25 PM EST
Actually, that might sell better.

I could be wrong but I think it was figure of speech not a homosexual invite.

Plus why do men use such put down for oral sex to indicate hostility - I would think they would save that for something positive. I guess men don't like that kind of thing afterall. LOL

Oh fuck the ponies - fuck it all...

We're gendering them. by gzt (2.00 / 0) #10 Thu Jun 11, 2009 at 05:06:58 PM EST
It expresses dominance.

Being female doesn't mean by SunlightGirl (2.00 / 0) #11 Fri Jun 12, 2009 at 10:45:19 AM EST
One can't be the dominate one.

Also I don't buy the whole oral sex refernce to healthy dominance. I think it indicates more than latent hostility and value toward sexuality.

I have never said in hostiliy to a guy suck me. I don't want anyone I feel I have to dominate in true way having their lips or finger tips anywhere on my body.

Sorry in such a sad mood this morning. Grams dying is really sad.

I knew she would do this crap I told Rene just last week watch her go and die right before they move her . \\

It was like she decided it was time to go. . This was the only time she could have managed to just let go in the last 5 months> and she did it.

Oh fuck the ponies - fuck it all...

If you need a C#/C++ developer by wiredog (2.00 / 0) #8 Thu Jun 11, 2009 at 08:00:01 AM EST
let me know. Although my recent record of joining companies just before they begin massive layoffs may be a bit nervous making.

Sorry by Phil the Canuck (4.00 / 2) #9 Thu Jun 11, 2009 at 08:04:16 AM EST
We won't be having any employees at the start.  Very, very low overhead.  If it takes off, I'll let you know just before our first layoffs hit.
