Lady Wifey and I will be in Boston on Saturday, which seems like a great excuse for a HuSi meetup.  How about lunch?

(Also, does Boston have an equivalent to a tkts booth where you can get same-day half-price theater tickets?)

Chinatown is easy for us to get to, so the dim sum place is a good suggestion.

Let's plan on Empire Garden at about noon-thirty then?  Unless you know of somewhere else, we trust your judgementses.

(Anyone else able to make it, or are we getting a 4-top?)

Since toxicfur works in the neighborhood, there are lots of backup plans she knows about.

Dim Sum by iGrrrl (2.00 / 0) #3 Wed Dec 16, 2009 at 09:48:40 AM EST
We'd have to do some research, because I'm not sure Empire Garden does Dim Sum on weekends.

But who am I kidding. Sadly, unlikely to make it in.

Sorry, can't make it by ad hoc (2.00 / 0) #4 Wed Dec 16, 2009 at 12:35:34 PM EST
but the ticket booth you're after is in Copley Square.

Weird. Some of the overhead and Street View pictures were taken on Marathon Day and some weren't.

must add by Kellnerin (2.00 / 0) #5 Wed Dec 16, 2009 at 07:19:38 PM EST
my regrets to the list. 'Tis the season of no free time. Hope you have a swell visit to the Hub!

If dim sum isn't possible, I suggest Shabu Zen or that awesome dumpling place toxicfur knows (or the Japanese-Korean place across the way if they are busy). All good choices.

Damn good question by jimgon (2.00 / 0) #10 Wed Dec 16, 2009 at 08:05:05 PM EST
I would have to consider the Goat more like the State Auditor.  Not sure what he does, but it seems to be important because there's an election every four years for it.
