'Twas a pretty productive day at work. We have a summer student, an undergrad from a midwestern university. The projects are due in written form on Friday, to be followed up by an oral presentation a week from Wednesday. It's converging, but not to what we wanted, exactly.
So I spent 2 hours this afternoon trying to reformat a data file so the standard fitting package can read it. That's me: reformat file from colleague A so that colleague B can use it in program C.
This evening, I went back to working on what's likely to be Chapter 10 of my revised novel. I've just now (halfway to the bottom of a generous shot of spiced rum, thank you very much) realized that my protagonists arrived in Reno in separate vehicles (or at least on different days) but went home again together.
I ditched a car in RenoSo, yeah. I think I'll just go to bed. Some days were not made for doing this kind of stuff.
just to watch it...
Tiebreak: I blanked a blank in Reno, just to watch it/him/her (you know...) blank.
