Insurance requires pre-approval for an MRI, however, after x-rays it seems worst case scenario I have a torn labum (sp?) and require surgery. Best case is that I have a spur of some bone and will need a cortizone shot and some physical therapy.

Update: now with x-ray pic.

Sucks.

tells the doctor. I cant lift anything with my arms in front or above. I also cant push back with my arm behind my back. Very weak in those situations.

I can still swim though, which is good.

Assuming I get my sheepskin, though, U of P isn't out of the question.

I've had a frozen shoulder, and working through that in PT was no fun at all. Well, unless you get a really cute therapist of the appropriate gender and you're into pain in a big way.

Got my MRI on July 14, only the labrial tear I got is in the hip. Not so much fun. Tentative surgery on Sept 11th (yay for notable dates.)
