Is that the new iPhone's web browser? by ammoniacal (2.00 / 0) #1 Tue Jun 24, 2008 at 07:50:33 PM EST
Doesn't sound familiar to me.

Irony: ammo says it's time. Tom is blocked.

KDE Desktop bullshit. by nightflameblue (2.00 / 0) #3 Tue Jun 24, 2008 at 10:37:07 PM EST
Used by just enough people to continually annoy when you're trying to be "cross-platform."

Oh! Oh! Me! Me! by dark nowhere (2.00 / 0) #2 Tue Jun 24, 2008 at 10:36:33 PM EST
You're right, Konqueror's rendering is garbage (and KDE's wallet system is annoying.) But that doesn't stop me from using it because Konqueror has some pretty great features. Access Keys and proper gesture support (not the BS that FF does) help me maximize my lazergies.

I am not your dupe account.

Scary thing. . . by nightflameblue (2.00 / 0) #4 Wed Jun 25, 2008 at 07:58:04 AM EST
I use it as part of my development cycle on web sites, and the rendering really isn't any worse than the big boys except they have an annoying tendency to make up their own conventions on CSS and then claim that the entire rest of the world are the ones that got it wrong. Most of the time I can tolerate that, but when I set a precise width and height for a table element, I expect it to be that width and that height. Everyone else gets it right, Konqueror fails it by "padding" the left and right, despite having padding set to zero.

NFB be pissed.
