John Steinbreak: Of mice and blank

Alternative John Steinbreak: Of blank and men

cobbled a rew riffs together here.... http://www.divshare.com/download/4438670-520 pretty crap needs a spark and some vocals... maybe it just needs to be faster.... certainly the exit Solo's pretty pedestrian. Is ANYBODY else doing an entry?

I'm hot and not (just) in a good way!

loadsamoney. Still think he's made a bad choice personally, esp. if Adebayor and Van P stay fit for most of next season.

Trackballs

I have an intro and two lines of a chorus towards an MFC. Given sufficient boozetime I might finish something. Not feeling very inspired at the moment though.

Please to not be making enormous leaps and bounds in the quality of your playing and soloing whilst I am still being forced to keep my guitar in its case.

Or at least have the decency to attend the Breakermatic Instashred course for a couple of hours.  I think your soloing has become significantly improved with this recording; your fingers have the speed and stamina now but your musical vocabulary needs extending.

Seriously, you've come a bloody long way; the riffing at ~0:30 shows a great control of thundering muted playing and there's a great deal of inventiveness in the phrasing of the lead line at ~2:00 and ~2:42.

If I have to hire a car and drive my kit over to yours, it will happen this year.  I reckon that will be a monster jam sesh.  What do you reckon?

LET THERE BE ROCK by TPD (2.00 / 0) #7 Fri May 09, 2008 at 04:33:30 AM EST
seriously if you ever want a trip up to nowheresville you (and your good wife) are more than  welcome to make a weekend of it... I probably just need a good month or sos notice to clear the garage up enough to fit 2 men and a couple of AMPs in. (Actually I need to buy an Amp too :S )

Otherwise I am happy to bring my geetar down any week that would be convenient.

Soloing I still don't have a bloody clue what I'm doing and I still don't really know any scale patterns, I just fuck about playing notes until I figure out a collection that "sort of work" and then try and finese it from there. I have no idea what scale I am playing in that solo (probably somekind of Harmonic Minor but I really don't know).

I have 2 amps by Breaker (4.00 / 1) #8 Fri May 09, 2008 at 04:41:53 AM EST
Oh yeah.  So all that'd be required would be you and  your guitar and FX.
