from what I remember you're much more handsome. Your drawing gives you a rough-hewn sculpted look, which overpowers the beauty of your face (as I remember it).

I'd like to see a more gentle handling of the brush around your nose. That alone might make the difference.

Your eyes are spot on.

But to be fair, I think I did a lot more damage to other people in their portraits, including yours :)

. . . but it's hard to see you in this sketch. Off the top of my head, I'd say needs a skinnier face and nose, but I haven't seen you in a while, so who knows.

Perhaps you've been on an eating and drinking binge and recently busted your nose?

The top lip bothers me as well . . . see, this is why drawing or painting yourself is so near impossible. Please don't take my comments too harshly though, just used to such quality that I think I can critique very god work.
