Why is it that the so-called "experts" can never seem to see the wood for the trees?

A normal guy is
obviously targeted by aliens and the so-called scientists have to get in there with their ridiculous "theories".

The Bosnian guy seems to sum it up completely when he says:

"I am obviously being targeted by extraterrestrials. I don't know what I have done to annoy them but there is no other explanation that makes sense"

But yet with a perfectly obvious explanation available, the so-called "scientists" have to try and obfuscate things.

Let's face it, you wouldn't build a reinforced steel roof, if you didn' think you were being targetted...

he's being targeted.  It's the only conclusion that makes sense.

. . . in the field of security and intrusion, it's pretty clear to me that he is indeed being targetted by aliens. Someone should really tell him that a steel-enforced roof will only attract larger meteorites . . .

and expert layabout, I wholeheartedly and without reservation feel that he is being targeted by aliens.

Perhaps I can help by ReallyEvilCanine (4.00 / 1) #4 Mon Apr 14, 2008 at 04:58:51 AM EST
Mr Lajic, in order to determine whether or not you're being targeted by aliens, I need to ask you to send me the following: You state that the roof is reinforced with a steel beam but it isn't clear whether the entire roof is reinforced or if only the main support beam is steel.

I am a specialist in I18N, L10N, L12Y and Galacticalisation (G15N), and from past cases can tell you that alien targeting can be exacerbated by taunting. Should this indeed be a case of alien targeting and not magnetic resonance or just or even coincidence as some of those "scientists" may claim we need to ensure that you are not being seen as rude by any aliens. However, due to the wide variances in alien cultures, we first need to determine which aliens may be causing your problems. This is the reason we need to see the actual meteorites and if possible, test them.

I will provide you an update and initial findings within 24 hours your update providing the above information and items.

Regards,
REC

We're porting our software to UTF-64 as we speak.

That may be OK for the Milky Way by ReallyEvilCanine (4.00 / 3) #6 Mon Apr 14, 2008 at 05:23:41 AM EST
But you do realise there are other galaxies out there, right? Quite a few, in fact. While UTF-64 should be sufficient for your current target market, you'll save a lot of time and headaches now if you plan for UTF-1024 now and not three millenia down the road. Not only does it retain the BMP structure of previous UTF encodings, UTF-1024 also offers the benefit of being a superset of various UTF-<prime number> encodings so popular with alien cultures.

...that the next round of rocks will not have a problem with his reinforced roof, as they will be the size of his house.

I would like to suggest another explanation, viz, the man's house is located over a hellmouth & there's some kind of greaseball demon shit (war between demon factions) going down.
Buy my books, dammit!
