I've sort of run out of outrage these days, and I view developments with a sort of detached ennui and mild amusement.

I now try and view every ridiculous policy decision that "new" "Labour" makes from the point of view of the elite technocrat making it. It all seems far easier to follow if one assumes the UK public are a bunch of foaming slashbot and the government is bunch of cunning adequacy-style trolls.

However this story still managed to get me to raise an eyebrow.

Whilst I'm all in favor of polyamory (albeit not in its ridiculously restrictive Islamic form) I cannot help thinking this may serve to increase racial and religious disharmony in the UKs multicultural utopia.

What do others think?

Immigration rules say entry clearance may not be withheld from a second wife

Entry clearance may not be withheld by a second wife, if she knows what's good for her.

In the "angry community" as some bloggers call our Muslim brothers and sisters which I'm sure is the aim.

Does it ever go sane? by Christopher Robin was Murdered (4.00 / 1) #5 Mon Feb 04, 2008 at 08:15:37 PM EST
Or is it something else until it goes mad, at which point it becomes political correctness.

Yes, I've often wondered about that too. by dmg (2.00 / 0) #7 Mon Feb 04, 2008 at 08:43:41 PM EST
Since political correctness seems to me to be mad by definition. However I guess the idea is that a little bit of PC is ok, but too much is a problem. A bit like cooking with chilli/garlic I guess.

The just another nail in our decaying society's coffin - along with "the movement to achieve public acceptance of the radical homosexual agenda" which, according to that web site you've linked to "is the most powerful attempt today to prepare the nation to acquiesce in the abandonment of any notion of right and wrong."

If only we had the courage to "punish the real criminals, the ones who are setting the moral tone of our nation by kicking out God and advocating hedonism to the max" as TYSK regular Dorothy Anne (Dottie) Seese so eloquently puts it.

Man, I think I must learn more out of school than I ever learned in it.
