Well, I haven't been writing all that much about what I've been doing. Heck, were it not for miniature painting, I bet that diary total would have dropped to almost half. I guess the impetus to write is somewhat dulled by a lack of discontent.

The Basilissa's belly bulges bountifully. Last week, it looked like a bit of a pooch. Now there's no question she is with child. She also says that you can see kicks and whatnot from the outside, but I haven't seen that yet.

Christmas produced a lot of loot from a lot of people who care about us. The digital frame her grandparents gave us shall be put to fine use.

I bought a couple of cardigan sweaters when we visited the Welsh Parents in L-Town. Why would this be of note? Well, beside the fact that I've always wanted one and Cardigan was a somewhat interesting fellow (for a little while, anyway), Welsh Dad ended picking up a couple of cardigans himself (different colors from mine though. That would have been creepy). We have now started a "cardigan club". I believe that I am now obligated to buy a pipe for smoking or perhaps the feigning thereof.

Didn't screw up the busiest month of work too badly. Planning for Las Vegas will be revealed in the next two weeks so yeah...

We're 98% moved. We both have about a car load each of stuff back at the old place. One day this week we're going to go back, clean the place and bring it all home so it can be official and done. Otherwise, I've been putting thing where they need to go and putting up shelves and all that kind of jazz. We also scored free curtains from some of the Welsh Grandparents so I'm probably going to be putting up curtain rods soon. How domestic... Also turns out that we have a yard guy. When I got home yesterday, someone had done all the raking I've been waiting for a warmer weekend day to get done. This might also mean that we have a pool guy, too. That would be 15 kinds of awesome.

It's been a wonderful year what with getting married and Welsh Girl being pregnant and moving and all. And I expect 2009 to be even better.

And to sum up, the Benevolent Tyrant and the Basilissa bless you all, my subjects, with long life, good cheer and the best wishes for the new year.

Selah.
