Print Story Rough Evening Update...

Talked to JonBoy about what's going on with him and his girlfriend.

She and JonBoy went in to the hospital to induce her this morning. Some time this afternoon, she started feeling intense pain in her side. Fifteen minutes later, they had her under the knife. The surgeons ended up doing an emergency C-section. Luckily, they didn't have to do a hysterectomy. She's going to be in the hospital for a couple of days but it looks like she's going to be alright.

The funeral is tentatively going to be this weekend but nothing's going to happen until she gets out of the hospital.

I'm going to call some of our mutual friends and let them know what's happening. When the time comes, I'm going to pass around when and where the funeral will be.

That is all.

but healing from that C-section is going to be really hard. My sister-in-law was suicidal after hers.

She's going to need family and support - better than just JonBoy.

I hope she can get the support she'll need.

A purpose gives you a reason to wake up every morning.
So a purpose is like a box of powdered donut holes?

Too horrible for words.... by littlestar (4.00 / 1) #2 Thu Oct 09, 2008 at 07:21:44 AM EST
I'm so sorry for them. It makes me cry to think about. I send you extra hugs for them.

My thoughts to you and your friends. by greyrat (2.00 / 0) #3 Thu Oct 09, 2008 at 12:37:25 PM EST
As I have said here before, my son was supposed to be a twin. We had almost six months of not knowing for sure how the pregnancy would turn out -- except that we wouldn't have twins. So I can understand the fear and angst and eventual guilt that your friends are probably dealing with. All I can say is that it's just something that happens sometimes. Not to make it less horrible, but to let them understand that it's not their fault, and it doesn't mean it'll happen again.

My condolences.
