The good doctor (a D&E specialist) reported a fist-sized blood clot in her uterus.  Very unusual and potentially pregnancy-terminating in and of itself.

As for the cystic hygroma, it seems to have progressed and consists of roughly 50% of the physical volume of the fetus.  So, what with that and the blood clot, there is no fkn way this would have gone to term.

This makes me feel better.

This also makes me want to bawl like the pathetic ass that I am.

I think I'll save it for when I'm not in the waiting-room cyber cafe, however.
