I went fishing in the San Gabriel again yesterday, exploring a new section I'd not waded before, and I caught more fish than I'd ever caught before. I lost count around thirty. Of course, we're talking about small fish here, but I'm also using an ultralight rod, so when I actually tie into something reasonably-sized, like a one-pound bass, it's a heck of a fight. I could go again today, but I think I should take a rest from it. I've got other things to do around here.
I'm about to go for a nice long walk, and then do a bit of shopping, and maybe I'll get to come home for a nice dinner.
Update [2007-8-5 16:12:28 by riceowlguy]: Okay, so I went for the nice long walk (5.5 miles in about 1:40:00), and I've done more laundry, and I've washed my car, and I figure I can just do the shopping I was planning to do tomorrow on the way home from the office, since it's right there. So, looks like I might go try my luck in Brushy Creek this afternoon. Why not? I'm bored, and I can't do this in Houston.
