The first album is nice.

It's like Mogwaii with rhythm. All post-rock instrumentals. Mostly short ones with a kind've 80's metal-funk thing going on. There is no trademark 80's techno sound yet. That comes later. It's better than the sophomoric wishy-washy "surrender to the night" album. -end.

trans am's debut is the best. i bought it a while back and i still listen to it almost everyday. it's pure instrumental rock that gets you charged up, and makes you feel like going out with your friends to play a little mailbox baseball. for an extra special treat, go see trans am live. I swear to god it is the best show you will ever see. also search out and buy the import it has about ten more amazing tracks. you will not be let down. if i could give this cd more than five stars i would.
