My son will be the honourary Co-Captain for the coin toss before the Seattle Seahawks & Oakland (boo!) Raiders NFL match, this Thursday evening, 7 pm PST.
I doubt they'll let me on the pitch, so my cover should remain intact.

Tune in and cheer for him and the Hawks, or I'll hunt you down and fucking kill you.

Seahawks vs Raiders by jimgon (4.00 / 1) #1 Wed Aug 29, 2007 at 03:18:26 PM EST
I suppose I could root for them, after all I don't like either  team, so I'm not vesting much in it.

This is absolutely unbelievable. I think my brother-in-law drafted your son for the honorary co-captain slot in his fantasy football league!

WTF do you want me to say?? by ti dave (4.00 / 1) #11 Wed Aug 29, 2007 at 05:09:48 PM EST
I'm back on leave, visiting my family and I'll be back to perforating some more Hadjis at an undisclosed desert location in a couple of weeks.
At least they let me back in with my stripes, so the pay's decent.

After catching up on some Diaries, I gotta admit that the lack of troop support on this site is bewildering me. ti Out.

To tell you that I missed you and give you a big sloppy kiss?

Well, I did miss you, but you can forget about the kiss.

Indeed. I support them to the tune of $1700 per month, roundabouts. So you best get back to the jungles and kill some VC for me dammit.

If I were to place an obscene amount of money on the coin toss for tonights game, theoretically of course, which team should I bet on?

I don't think I've ever been to a game where there wasn't some sort of cheer after the coin toss provided the home team won.

Of course, these are the same fans who at the last game I went to sat behind me, drank their asses off, and some lady was screaming to "throw the ball to Moss!" while we were on defense...

Then her kids yelled something and I #### you not, she chastised them for yelling...  This lady is yelling so loud I can't actually hear the individual words but her kids dare make a peep and they get a reaming.  Cripes.

I loath 99% of my fellow football fans.

Hey, you're seriously going back over? by ObviousTroll (4.00 / 1) #24 Thu Aug 30, 2007 at 09:10:26 AM EST
I never knew you were going - your last diary mentioned the recruiter but that was it. If you go, be careful, all right? Surge or no surge, Democrats or insurgents, keep your ass covered.
