When one of the game designers where I work confessed to playing Pokemon on the office newsgroups, I couldn't help but post in a link to the The Tournémon (Penny Arcade), and the "news" posts made by Gabe about the events that inspired it. The designer had his own little tale to tell...

I did actually go to a Pokemon thing at Gamestation to get the free pokemon last time round (GBA version) and I was the only adult there. When they gave me the free pokemon they asked what freebie I wanted -- poster, key fob or T-shirt. I asked for a T-shirt and they gave me a realy pitying look and said "We only have children's sizes." :/
All the kids had better Pokemon that me too.
