The good news is that it's not a contagious vomit causing sickness or anything like that, but it is still some form of malady. I actually left work early yesterday when the headaches and the stone in my stomach could no longer be endured in public. Spent most of yesterday evening in bed, getting up only to eat something and watch a short movie. This morning finds me feeling less bad, but still kind of crappy so I think I'll stay in today. It'll give me a chance to paint and lounge about a bit. Maybe, if I feel better later, I may venture out to the bank or some such.

Our house guest will be gone soon, I think. The last few days she's been sleeping here and then getting up early to work on her place before going to work in the afternoon. Hell, this is the second day in a row I'm going to be able to have breakfast in front of the news. All hail blessed routine!

It's pretty quiet around here. Welsh Girl is still asleep. I'm going to eat something and then I think I'm going to cut some foam core. I got some ideas yesterday from looking at some pictures of ruined buildings and I think I'm going to try throwing some together before lunchtime. After that, I think I'm going to give painting one of these things a go. I picked up some cheap acrylics since I'm looking at a big project when I really start painting. Let's see how they perform. They certainly wouldn't do for minis, but for buildings? They should work fine. let's just hope I can get a sandy/adobe look out of them. Worse comes to worse, I'll just say it's alien sand from an alien planet or some kind of crap like that.

Oh, yeah, I'm going to H-Town on the 28th to catch our own RiceOwlGuy in Ruddygore. In fact, I think I'm going to go up early and maybe make a day of it, hitting museums, doing stuff and generally walking the Earth, kinda like Kane in Kung Fu. Welsh Girl won't be coming along, but that's cool. It'll be a day for me or some kind of crap like that.
