Less than a week to go.
I'm not sure how much more beer and food my body can take. This month has flown in indulgence.

I don't own a scales but the tried and trusted these-trousers-shouldn't-be-this-tight method suffices to tell me of overconsumption. Hopefully a month of tramping up and down hills in Switzerland will help, though I have a lead on a job much earlier than I thought. Actually, make that a month minus a week. I intend to sleep for a week.

Bookshops are dangerous. I went in intending to browse. I came out with four Inspector Morse omnibuses. I have no willpower. Damn their special offers! (Chapters, Parnell St. if you're in the city and want to be tempted).

Waiting for my exit interview. I think it will be symbolic of pretty much everything if it doesn't get scheduled in time.

Exit interview by DullTrev (2.00 / 0) #1 Wed May 09, 2007 at 07:51:52 AM EST

My exit interview was vaguely fun, in a "How can I tell HR I'm leaving because the organisation is a soul-destroying monster with an attitude akin to that of a sulky toddler, without actually running the risk of bad references?" kind of way.

My copy of the form said they thought I'd left because I hadn't been challenged enough. So perhaps I succeeded.

But I'm also trying to convey something about decision-making bottlenecks.

Good references are also illegal by Phage (2.00 / 0) #4 Wed May 09, 2007 at 10:26:49 AM EST
Where a too positive reference has been given in order to help an employee to quit.

This is why they are mostly useless. Most companies limit to confirming that you have been employed by them between certyain dates.

after all, there's the ++C one, as well.
