Print Story Hi everyone
HuSi
By Jay Alfred Prufrock (Sun Feb 18, 2007 at 06:52:12 AM EST) hi, intro, other (all tags)
I'm new, and just thought I'd say hi. So, hi! I come from RI (Providence) and like to read books and junk...A friend at work (the library!) recommended KuSi to me and said it rocks and all the people are really cool.

Not sure if I have anything else to say just yet...I work at night!?

Does your library ever burn books that say the wrong things in them? Or, failing that, do they hand over personal information to government agencies to assist in their relentless pursuit of Middle Eastern wrongthink?

Do you have trouble with organized crime making conterfeit library cards out of cheap imitations of cardboard?

I am from a small, unknown country in the north called Ca-na-da.

welcome to the site.

I also work the night shift and at times it gets to me.  So my spelling mistakes tend to be greatest in the mornings after work.

Most people are "cool" or normal.  There's always an exception and you might as well take me as an example.  I won't go beyond that, it's best if others tell you or you figure out yourself.

:-)

Have a thick skin and a quick wit.  You'll be fine.

You have the wrong place by ucblockhead (4.00 / 2) #4 Sun Feb 18, 2007 at 11:21:38 AM EST
This is the place where people complain about their jobs and their significant others, post long, boring descriptions of stuff no one is interested in and have interminably dull debates about economics and global warming. No one's cool here. (Except for blixco.)

The proper abbreviation for "Hulver's site" is "Ku5i", not "KuSi". Please make a note of it.

How do you work at night at the library? by Histle JJL Mechanics (2.00 / 0) #7 Sun Feb 18, 2007 at 02:39:26 PM EST
Is this a 24 hour library? I've never heard of such a thing.

Have you seen The Passion yet? Here's a spoiler for you: Jesus dies.

well, I must say, by Phil Urich (4.00 / 1) #9 Sun Feb 18, 2007 at 08:05:43 PM EST
your name is an excellent literary reference!

Unless, of course, it's actually your name.

But the possibility of hilarious coincidences aside, your T.S.-Eliot-reference-name totally beats my obscure-comic-book-alter-ego-from-the-late-90's-reference-name.
