KU's now 10-0. Good win against OSU last night, and you can tell people are starting to take them serious, as more and more are bashing them for their 4 blowout non-conference wins. It probably will not happen, but imagine this scenario:
- KU wins out, beating taking down two top 10 BCS teams in Mizzou and OU on the way.
- Both LSU and Oregon win out.
- Unbeaten KU, champion of a major BCS conference, one that will likely be considered one of the top 2-3 conferences in the nation this year, will be shut out of the BCS championship game.
Spent yesterday playing XBox with Kevin, Justin, and later James and Ron. Bought Call of Duty 4, which looks like it'll be a good game, but disappointingly for us it doesn't have any "Your squad against the CPU" local multiplayer options. We're used to playing Ghost Recon with the four of us on one team defending against CPU terrorists or whatever, which quite frankly is a blast. So we had to fall back to that. Except two of the old XBox Ghost Recon games wouldn't play on the 360. Good job MS. Have to pick up a Ghost Recon game for the 360 and hope it has this old, loved feature (anyone know?), as I'm sure we'll try and get another gaming day going sometime around Thanksgiving/Christmas breaks.
Side Note: Three Marlena's by The Wallflowers - Underrated song? Is Jacob Dylan still doing anything? Regardless, Pandora rocks.
WoW patch 2.3 next week. I can't wait. Faster leveling of alts, an all-new-all-shiney Alterec Valley, Season 1 Arena gear for sale using Honor and Marks....What's not to love? Meanwhile I still have the 360, and Super Mario Galaxy is dropping as well. Should have held off on that weeks vacation last month perhaps.
