Well, you can just imagine how giddy I was as I could hear the rain pitter patter against the boards where the windows used to be in my office, knowing that the time was nigh when I could finally test the new wipers!
Finally when the clock struck 7 and it was time to head on back to the bunker I fired up the ignition system and cranked the wiper button all the way to 10, the maximum setting, and waited for the wipers to start going back and forth and whatnot, which, as the winds of fate may have it, is exactly what happened. All wasn't perfect though as the passenger side blade was making this "reee reee noise as it went fro (note - it didn't make the noise while going to) and it was missing some drops here and there, leading me to think maybe I didn't install them properly. Luckily this problem worked itself out as I drove home which leads me to believe these are some kind of magical self-adjusting wipers. Anyways, be that as it may, the new wipers are clearing a path and making my big glass thing as bright and clear as a Bahgdahd city during an American air raid!
In other news the raisins shown on the Granola box are a ruse as there are only about 3 or 4 actual raisins in the entire box.
And finally - tonight is game one of the ALCS pitting the incredible Clevia Indians vs the smelly looser Red Sox! The winners will go on to represent the AL in the World Series!! So lets go Tribe!! As a side note I just got off the phone with my buddy Marty Smazerollia who is madly working the phones trying to come up with some tickets to one of the games. I have total confidence that he's going to pull through and score some mondo seats! Right O!
