Next door were drilling so peaceful reading accompanied by nice wine mostly didn't happen. Foodwise, I found a cheese I definitely do not like (epoisse). Kite flying was stymied by terribly stormy and wet weather. Partying and sociability can be counted as one, family not included. Mostly due to not really being in the mood to meet with particular people.

Gadget count.

1. A new phone, obtained via present. The Nokia E60 which (hurrah) does not have a camera. It is my first Nokia since 1997 and thankfully the UI is much improved. Very nice screen on it.
2. A new laptop, obtained via present to self before I curtail my fun expenditure. 13" core 2 duo macbook. In white. More screen, lighter and faster than my previous powerbook.
3. A camera, obtained via present due to husband upgrading his. Nikon D70. I haven't owned a camera in years but it is nice to have a proper one. I used to be very into photography but without the financial means to implement it when I was an early teenager so now I have to relearn about aperture etc.
