Working life

As I write this I am still on hold whilst the hell desk figures out how I can arrange for one of my staff to have access to my old emails as an archive.
Can't be that hard to transfer a pst file so he can open it.

Not much else is going on. I'm slightly hungover this morning as N and I stayed up until early last night putting the world to rights with red wine. However, two pain killers and a bacon sandwich later I'm even considering the gym at lunchtime.

Looking forward to the new job. Apart from the pay rise, I'll be so glad to get away from the sheer management crapspeak and hypocrisy. Mind you I love this bit of working out the notice period.

"Working 9-5..." and an hour for lunch !

Is it lunchtime yet ?

Notice period by DullTrev (4.00 / 3) #1 Thu Jan 11, 2007 at 06:31:28 AM EST

I too am enjoying my notice period. The sense of schadenfreude at watching all the risks they told me I was wrong in saying were there steadily hit is intense. Oddly, I find it difficult to get stressed about trying to fix them...

Of course, I'd find it even more fun if I had a contract lined up for the end of the month...

Gotta love that. Rats. Ships. Sinking.
I'm finishing here at the end of the month, followed by a long weekend before starting at $USMegaCorp. I'll be watching the unfolding disaster from minimum safe distance.

Is there anything it can’t do?
