On the off chance anyone else is going to this, a 3-day pass has apparently been acquired for me so I'll be there too.

For anyone else, any bands you recommend I particularily avoid wandering off during?

I've been attempting to listen to as much music I've never heard before as possible. So I went to Pitchfork Music Festival here in Chicago a month ago (just Saturday), had never heard of any of the bands, quite enjoyed it. And my accompanying friends saw the poster for T&G's party, and we agreed to reconvene that weekend. (Actually, they said something like "omg, Big Black, do you remember that album with ...", but having no musical education or participation in the "scene" I can't really follow such conversations.)

That is all.

...though, if you can swing it, could you give me a report on Killdozer?

Have you seen The Passion yet? Here's a spoiler for you: Jesus dies.

Shellac, Big Black, Scratch Acid, Didjits, Killdozer, The Ex, Pegboy, and Arcwelder. All seminal T&G bands. All parts of my youth.
