Half my job at the moment seems to be doing odd jobs for everyone else.

I'm feeling kind of irritated.

For some reason, I'm the selected victim when it comes to intermediate builds. Also, I happen to have one of the few machines with firewire, so my machine also happens to be the video sample machine.

May I should make it look more like I'm doing some actual work.

Or maybe I should throw the next person who interrupts me out of the window.

Defenestration is what you need.

fw-adapters setting you back the total of £10 these days, it's really a stretch finding the money for one :-)

Not sure what I did with it. It's either in my PC or in my spare bits box. Wish there were more devices that I could plug into it.
Considering they've got a VGA to video converter and a video to firewire converter, you'd have thought they'd be willing to splash out a bit on the rest of a video edit suite.
