
This photo was taken on the trail head to Scarab and Mummy Lakes in Banff National Park. We stayed at the Egypt Campground. Anybody noticing a theme?
I like this photo for a number of reasons, none of which have to do with photography. The day this picture was taken happen to a wonderful day of hiking. Whistling Pass was named for the sound made be the colony of Hoary Marmots that live there, not by the wind. Very inquisitive and playful animals, as long as you don't get to close.
Somebody mentioned a Husi Fun Photo Contest in a recent diary. With the recent interest in photos and photography I think it's a great idea.
