Another picture diary, in my irregular diarizing, or cars and travels.

I've dropped links to my hoopty a few times in various posts. It's a 1989 Ford 'Country Squire LTD' station wagon.

my hoopty

It's taken the family to Maine a number of times, been to the beach in Wilmington NC an equally large number of times, lived outside through a New Hampshire winter, and now is my daily commuting care. (I forgot to take a picture of it's 'marked' parking spot -- the large oil stain).

Well, another milestone was reached this weekend.
all those digits are the same

I don't know if the Ford Engineers were pessemistic about limiting the odometer to 5 digits or what, but I now have a nice low-mileage car! (where low mileage == 200,000)
lookit that low mileage

Alas, no one by sasquatchan (2.00 / 0) #3 Mon Jun 26, 2006 at 01:26:12 PM EST
there were quite a few blurry ones, and the passenger seat angle wasn't that great. So I was on a wide, empty, neighborhood street for that picture. The ones at 35 mph were really blurry.. heh.

Oh puleeeeez.. by Bob Abooey (4.00 / 1) #8 Mon Jun 26, 2006 at 02:23:39 PM EST
Actually it's a 96 Accord, I use the 86 claim as further obfuscation. Look for a forthcoming diary on the car in the near future which may spell some upcoming changes in that regard.

But still, it doesn't have any faux wood on it and more to the point IT'S NOT A WAGON for cripes sake.

A wagon! Ha! My 97 year old grandfather has a hipper car than you!

Warmest regards,
--Your best pal Bob

At least it's not yellow and green like the walls of your living room and kitchen.

Boy, I wish you would post pictures more often, we really get some great insights with these.

Warmest regards,

You'll always find me begging to climb in someone's wagon at car shows.

Nice wagon.
