With all the gentrification that's occurred over the past decade or so, the old appliance stores and textile shops that used to dominate Queen west west have nearly disappeared. Rather than the odd hipster specialty shop scattered between sketchy-looking taverns and non-descript storefronts, you've now got the reverse. I dunno how long these two will last, but I figured I may as well record them in ink.

Not a lot else to write about today. Work progresses. Our internet is shit. Who knows if I'll even manage to post this.

P.S. MissTrish: no I haven't forgotten. The drawing is progressing, I just keep messing up. One of these nights I'll get a layout I can actually live with.
