What I should do with this windfall is go home, unpack (finally), do laundry, hoover, mow the lawns and wipe the mould off the bathroom walls. But I think I'll do that tomorrow instead.
Alternatively, I could write up WFC2. I've got a definite setting and plot and a number of hooks to support it. No character development much though. The stuff I used to write when I was in college was very dynamic. Lots of angst and learning about yourself and typical quest scenarios. Standard post-adolescent dystopian fantasy. Now I seem to be more interested in standing still and looking at what is going on around whatever bit of me in the story is talking. But I'll probably do that on Sunday instead.
I think what I'll actually do is plonk myself down in the cafe of the national gallery with some cake and some dodgy detective fiction and then go home and watch Australian hospital dramas.
Enjoy.
