I like the series; the passages are no longer made of cardboard, the special effects are much less artificial, but with still a connection to the "fun" in the older shows.
Have to say Billie Piper makes fairly watchable eye candy also. I realise this is going against the trend, but think I prefer her to the Battlestar Galactica candy.
Think that one-episode shows are too short, there's no "hide behind the sofa" moments that you have to wait a week or day for resolution.
Also, who else thinks the BBC missed a trick in not giving Anthony Head the role of The Master for repeat performances?
