nothing happening out there and nothing happening in here either.

Tiebreak: Knock knock

Nothing much is going down chez TPD.

I'm in a guitar slump where I don't seem to be able to play anything (let alone anything well).

Dr Who.... wasn't that taken with the whole cyberman parallel universe thing to be honest

Comics.... Has anybody read the Joss Weedon X-men series? Is it any good?

I'm shattered.

I am riffing muchly, but not able to turn it into songs. I suspect I need the pressure of an MFC to produce something original.

Unless it's an MFC I tend to get very unfocussed and just noodle about with Riffs that I promptly forget.

I think the purpose of the by Metatone (4.00 / 1) #2 Mon May 22, 2006 at 11:23:05 AM EST
episodes was to write the tin dog out.

It certainly lacked something, I guess I would blame the two-parter format somewhat. Needed more plot for that length.

Actually, no, I'll just rip off smoe Bill Bailey:

Or just explaining your needs?

Who was indeed a bit rubbish.  Anything with "parallel" in it is automatically a cop-out, and the writing was banal.  Pimping Torchwood was never big, and stopped being clever a long time ago.  It was really just a bunch of running and shooting and shouting and over-emoting about Feelings.  Team Who: Cosmos Police.

Oh noes, I feel a license fee rant coming on.  Someone send me a copy of The Grauniad, stat.

Explaining one's needs? HAHAHAHAAAAAA!!! by greyrat (4.00 / 2) #8 Mon May 22, 2006 at 01:34:11 PM EST
And why is it that withholding -- oh for example, sex -- considered acceptable and taking it is a crime? In a consenting and committed relationship I mean?
