Nine in fact.

  • Our tulips are blooming, the plum trees are a sea of pink flowers. We have a cover of pink, blue, purple and white flox out the front and the daffodils are well into their season of yellow. Ahh spring.

  • I can barely walk today, I have been skating hard this week, and my knees can't take it. Getting up stairs is painful and awkward. Back to power walking.

  • Pro Hart died. He was a stunning painter that captured much of the colour and wonder around him. proof - positive - of sheer talent.

The jpgs dont do the sheer brightness of colour in his paintings justice. The blues and reds are quite brilliant. They leap off the canvas when viewing them in person.

  • My guitar strings appear live? I get a humming unless I am touching them. That is a ground not working right? or is just a crappy amplifier with too much distortion?

  • Jeffrey Smart is still alive. I mimicked him in this photograph.

  • Australian trade - imports and exports broken down by state. Western Australia is commodity driven (thanks China!) and NSW/Vic is services driven. Queensland is a mix of both using the Asian style of capitalism in the development-state. NSW and Victoria consume 70% of all Australian imports.

  • Detailed the Outback last night. It is all shiny and clean - inside and out. it is a pretty tough looking car. It gets the balance between car, SUV and station wagon right. Very practical car.

  • I organised the MFC IV album in iTunes and the nanopod last night. I ended up using all album covers and mixing them between the songs. Thank-you all for the great mp3s and album covers.

I miss my Sube by georgeha (4.00 / 1) #1 Fri Mar 31, 2006 at 11:18:21 AM EST
it's nice to be able to squeal tires with a hasty clutch foot, but I do miss the snowy weather capabilities of my Sube. I hope to get another in a few (or more) years.

Our bulbs are coming up, but they're not flowering yet.

Before the consipicous cars by cam (2.00 / 0) #2 Fri Mar 31, 2006 at 01:46:32 PM EST
I had a Suburu Impreza as my commuter car. Tough, tough car. Never blinked, never complained. This is our second Outback now. My wife has a long commute and when her other one ran out of legs, she didnt want anything else.

It comes out early by cam (2.00 / 0) #4 Sat Apr 01, 2006 at 04:57:22 AM EST
it flowered not soon after our daffodills bloomed. I was surprised how quickly the tulips came up though.
