Musicals, wedding, and CYCLING.

Put the f'ing lotion in the basket:

Silence of the lambs the musical is hysterical.  The dudes who wrote this definitely have their musical shit together.  The popular favorite is "Put the Fucking Lotion In the Basket" while I prefer the "Are You About a Size 14?".

Along the same lines is Jame Gumm singing Alice in Chains "Down in a hole" (banner ads NSFW)

Weekend:

Went to Atlantic City on Friday night at the urging of my friends and yh.  Pretty uneventful although we did see one of those big planters with a burning shrub inside.  Many burning bush and Three Amigos! references were made, as was a call to the po-po to notify them of the situation after my attempts of stamping the fire with my man clogs was unsuccessful.

Managed to get home and in bed at 0400 after avoiding the local PD's attempts at pacing me.

My friends wedding on Saturday was.... different.  The grooms grandma said "NO" a bit too loudly during the vows, which made us all LOL ROFL LMAO.  Fortunately the bride didn't hear, but she did later as I recounted the story (whoops).  My ex-gf of three years was there with my best friend (they've been dating a while).

One of my friends got hammered and made an ass out of himself (shocker) and passed out in the tub at the hotel, leaving his poor wife there to watch him while the rest of us went out.

Cycling (of course):

Did the usual AM weight session on Monday and the post-work Death By CompuTrainer.  Didn't have the legs (ahem) to do a full workout but did a full warmup and 2 10:00 TT efforts:

Effort 1: 233W avg, 387W max, 21.6mph avg, 3.60 miles, 164 avg HR, 178 max HR
Effort 2: 238W avg, 416W max, 21.8mph avg, 3.62 miles, 170 avg HR, 180 max HR

This is a marked improvement from the low 200W averages I was putting out just a few months ago after doing an easier leg workout in the AM.

There's an individual time trial this weekend in Sandy Hook NJ which I bailed out of last year due to the wind driven cold rain and localized flooding in the area.  This years a wash too, I'm not driving 2 hours for a 7 mile TT.  The next TT is June 4 in South Jersey, the NJ TT Champs, a flat 40K.

The cassettes I ordered are in and I'll be heading to Philly this weekend to pick up the Zipps.  I also picked up a Ultimate repair stand.  I've been eying a repair stand for a couple of years and finally pulled the trigger on it.  Got a nice deal from Ebay, 210 including shipping.

but we (me and the fellow FAA co-ops in my car) all looked wholesome, and we were on the way to the casinos, so they let us go.

NEVER pull the trigger! by ammoniacal (4.00 / 1) #2 Wed Mar 29, 2006 at 05:43:14 PM EST
Squeeze the trigger, after exhaling half your breath.
