Some tv commercials are good. Like this one. Amazing what you can get across in only 15 seconds. The rest of them are good, too, but that one is outstanding, IMO.

In a (futile) effort to head of a bit of spam, I have "feedback" forms on the sites that I create. It's just an HTML form that sends mail to me instead of a mailto link. You know the thing. Here's one I got yesterday from my main company (database web programming) site:

Rats! As I suspected, the UPS driver came while at my client meeting. So instead of a bicycle, I have "Sorry we missed you."

My phone started to go out last night, so while there was still a little bit of sound left above the crackling, I called repair. They said they'd fix it by 8:00 pm Wednesday. But the DSL was still working, so what do I care? I mean, I ask you. Then, at about 9 this morning, they yanked the whole line. It's now 3:00 and it's working again. The snowstorm took me out for two days, then the blokes delivering our new roof put it all infront of the antenna. I freaked out. They were good enough to come back immediately and remove it all. Tomorrow will be noisy, they will be ripping the tar off and replacing it.
