I have an extremely important question for you Britain-dwellers.

No, strike that. I have three extremely important questions.

Do you know what a kedgeree is?
Do you like kedgeree?
How do you like your kedgeree?

Please be answer ASAP. Thank you.

It's a simple dish by hulver (4.00 / 1) #4 Thu Oct 05, 2006 at 05:31:05 PM EST
Some recipes here

It's basically just onions fried with turmeric, rice, hard boiled eggs and smoked white fish.

Mix in various proportions.

My mother left out the turmeric and would use white fish instead of smoked, but served it in a ring of mashed potato with sliced tomatos and grapes on top.

with some lightly poached smoked haddock flaked in at the last minute, soft rice boiled in the haddock poaching just, and softish quartered boiled eggs mixed in.

Sorry for the delay, I was cooking a risotto.

That's not what authentic kedgeree is (apparently), but it's fucking lovely. Authentic kedgeree sounds crap.
