Stuff, no particular order, some good some bad. Am tired so grumpy tone throughout.

Work - normal stuff, boss annoying, everyone comes to me about everything, everythings a priority (except what I think is) etc etc. Have booked a ticket for the charity/public sector job fare on September 16th.

Football - the Chelsea game was pretty annoying, who knows how it would have gone but we were obviously much more competitive with 11 men. This is another example of where players/managers are crying out for consistency, I have seen the same thing happen before (Mido with his arm up) with the outcome being a foul a yellow or a red. I don't think there was any intent there but there should be a clear directive that you cannot have your arms up when you jump if players are going to be sent off.

Nans funeral - was on Thursday, was a good service. Everyone seemed better for the closure especially my Dad.

Stag weekend - went to Southampton on a Stag Weekend on Friday and never ever want to drink that much again. NEVER. I did do paintballing and go-karting both of which I enjoyed. The rest of it was fairly standard and to be honest, pretty boring. Just getting pissed in a average bar just is just not very interesting to me at the moment.

Date(s)  - both went well, had a top curry in Brick Lane last Wednesday. Then the lucky(?) lady stayed over at mine on Sunday, I had the worlds worst hangover from the Stag and wished only to eat, read papers and laze around which probably didn't impress her that much but she stayed at mine till this morning so she can't have had too bad a time. Am getting together again next week as I have the whole week off and she has just booked a couple of days.

Your typical whingy Spurs fan. by xth (4.00 / 1) #1 Tue Aug 30, 2005 at 07:52:16 AM EST
Come on, it was obvious Mido was trying to hit the guy on the head pretending it was unintentional.
Spurs had no chance anyway.

...so well. I didn't expect us to get any kind of result before, but again, we started OK and were obviously more competitive before he was off. We'll never know.

Well, at the moment I'd put my money on one by xth (4.00 / 1) #4 Tue Aug 30, 2005 at 08:06:25 AM EST
between Spurs, Liverpool and City for the fourth CL spot. Everton were a flash in the pan last year, and Newcastle are going down (midget or not).

As well as being a pasty IT geek, you're a famous footballer!

At least, I assume you're on the team through your use of the word "we". Although perhaps you're a major shareholder, or are involved in the management. But you must have some influence of some sort.

SHE TOUCHED YOUR WIENER! Dude, you totally did it. Excellent work. However, as pointed out by ECU, you should probably run a background check on her, or at least check the post office for her picture. Just to be safe, you understand. I mean, even when lmB is here for multiple days, she has to go home to get stuff.

Mr. Pulley's wiener has to come out for air by MohammedNiyalSayeed (4.00 / 2) #13 Tue Aug 30, 2005 at 08:33:25 AM EST

like, a couple times a day. If she was there for more than one day, she had to see it coming out for air, and from there, I extrapolated that she had, in fact, touched said wiener, because, after all, what girl could resist touching a wiener?

...in fact, that may be why she hung around so long, because she thinks I am some kind of sexual athlete. Little does she realise the drought I was coming off the back of.

Will get my back office people to run a full "b'n'f" (backgroud and family) check but the quick search of her stuff I did when she was in the bathroom didn't give me any hints as to any subversive activities. I also scored a great pair of her undies.
