Not posted for a while... been busy I guess.

Work is a bit mad at the moment. Also, I've been playing a lot of WoW, and I am assuming you care little for hearing about my virtual exploits, so most of my recent activities have been either NDA or, well, not interesting to normal people.

That said...

It was my mums 60th birthday at the weekend - Happy Birthday Mum!

She, my father, my brother and his girlfriend all came to visit in Vienna. I took them all to the market on the Saturday morning, the weather was oppressively hot. We went out in the evening to the Vienna file festival - a big out door event that runs all month. They were showing a performance of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, which was really nice. We had a really nice meal out on the Sunday lunchtime at Vegetasia. We (Andie, Laura, my brother and I) gave my mum a digital camera and a printer for her birthday.

Dylan had a clean nappy this morning, asked to go to the toilet, and did a big poop like a propper grown up boy. You have no idea how proud I was.

Also, Karl got his first tooth today.

WoW by ana (2.00 / 0) #1 Tue Aug 02, 2005 at 11:50:25 AM EST
When we first started talking about it, we coined "WoW" as an acronym for "Wedding or Whatever". Even now, after the fact, there's an e-mail folder full of wedding business entitled WoW. And it really was, you know, a wow.

You disappoint me by Evil Cloaked User (2.00 / 0) #3 Tue Aug 02, 2005 at 12:21:34 PM EST
I was expecting a Mac fan boy defence of this.

Vienna File Festival? by IEFBR14 (2.00 / 0) #6 Tue Aug 02, 2005 at 12:35:31 PM EST
Great typo.

I actually stopped to wonder whether that was a celebration of carpentry tools or secretarial skills before the penny dropped.

Meh, it's been a long day.

And this morning by codemonkey uk (2.00 / 0) #13 Wed Aug 03, 2005 at 07:45:52 AM EST
I discover The Boy has decided at some point in the night that seeing as he is clearly a Big Boy now, he doesn't need a nappy at all and has removed it, resulting in somewhat wet bed.

Oh well.

WoW by MartiniPhilosopher (2.00 / 0) #8 Tue Aug 02, 2005 at 02:49:24 PM EST
Made 40 on Friday night myself. And in proud warlock tradition got my mount for free. This has pissed my fiance off to no end who still has to buy hers. Hippie night-elf thief that she is.

When sharing an account by MartiniPhilosopher (2.00 / 0) #14 Wed Aug 03, 2005 at 02:08:11 PM EST
It becomes quite hard to spend that 2 to 3 hours a night leveling up. I was quite happy to finally get to 40. However, I think that the sharing has gone pretty well so far. No fights over it, and we've both been pretty good about warning the other over appointments made to meet up with other people.

The account with my Paladin is also used by my wife ... who has a level 60 priest. We got a second account as well now, so we can play together. Our Hunter/Druid team are level 29 ... my wifes OTHER Priest just hit level 40 tonight as well...

Don't ask!
