Andie is a wonderful mother and I am a useless idiot.

Sorry Andie.

I didn't even just forget - I knew it was coming, and just didn't pay enough attention to it and never got around to going shopping / making a card.

Poll: How I should make it up to her.

Misc Updates: I was a bit poorly Thursday/Friday/Saturday. I am dangerously addicted to World Of Warcraft. So is Andie. So are many of my friends. It is a gross injustice that the time I am ill off work and Dylan is at Kindergarten is exactly when Blizzard take the servers down for maintenance.

Having just spoken to my sister who has also been subject to 'forgotten mothers day syndrome' (FMDS), I would strongly reccommend getting your best grovelling dungarees on or sleeping with one eye open (although hopefully for you, Andie isn't as violent as my sister).

In the middle of her rant about her other half, I asked my sister if she had called my mum on sunday and she hadn't. She DID NOT appreciate me pointing out the irony in the situation.

For The Sake Of Fock! by CheeseburgerBrown (4.00 / 1) #3 Mon Mar 07, 2005 at 04:42:56 AM EST
Don't scare me like that!

I don't know about you cross-ocean aliens, but here in Canadia we don't celebrate that shit for months. You made my heart skip a beat. Not only did I momentarily suspect that I'd dropped the ball in a serious way, but I was also concerned about the way the last few months had just sort of...blinked past.

Anyway, I'm glad to know I probably don't have a tumour.

Er...good luck.

didn't you look at your calendar? by rmg (2.00 / 2) #8 Mon Mar 07, 2005 at 05:55:25 AM EST
it was the first weekend of march and you know what that means. it was time to send your mother some nice candies and call her up on the phone. boy oh boy! where does the time go?

should have been sure to send that package before five o'clock wednesday. or you can do what i do and go to the post office during lunch. that's the best way not to forget to do it.

just a reminder for all my boys in the uk.

    yours faithfully,

    rmg.

shortly after posting, i realized what a mean and wrong headed thing this post was. of course, it is your site hulver, and as such, you should feel free to apply whatever standards you like to your users. if you hold me to a higher standard, i should be honored and strive to live up to it.

additionally, you should not feel obliged to be polite to me or any other user on account of your ownership of this site and the cost that represents to you. again, i humbly acknowledge your providence.

finally, since it is your site, when you troll, you should get response in proportion to the number of comments you devote to the effort. here is your second reply, putting your ratio properly at one.
