Just cuz.

My friend B called up to tell me he got engaged, which is cool, I like his fiancee. Wedding is this August, so that pretty much defines when my summer visit to home will be.

My sister may fly in this weekend for some work related conference, for what I don't know, it's all last minute. If so we'll probably eat clam chowder all weekend.

I will probably be in Chicago the last weekend of March, to visit N and a few other friends (N moved there a few months ago from Connecticut), along with a few non-husi internet geeks.

I ate like crap today. I probably got half my calories from saturated fat. This is mostly due to hitting the gym a lot lately. When I'm losing weight, my body complains, and scoots me right over to the high fat, calorie dense foods. I need to buy some decent food that I can stash at work so I'm not as tempted to eat pizza and candy bars.

I hurt my lower back at the gym last night while using the back extension weight machine, or whatever it is called. It didn't hurt at the time, but it is sore now. I don't think I injured my spine or I'd barely be able to walk, I think. But it hurts when I am standing and I lean forward at all, like an old man. No more of that exercise for a month, and probably no running for a few weeks. Back to the elliptical trainer, rotating in place while listening to The Postal Service sound all serious and quirky.

Thus ends today's generic entry.

Does it hurt when I do this? by ti dave (2.00 / 0) #1 Wed Mar 02, 2005 at 08:09:57 PM EST
If so, then I'll go ahead and write this 'scrip for some OxyContin, but do NOT inject it intravenously, under ANY circumstances. Got it?

I don't care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do.

Sure, but is that the new old school OxyContin? by LinDze (2.00 / 0) #2 Wed Mar 02, 2005 at 09:22:33 PM EST
Or that new sissy time release junk?

We'll need you to set up an appointment through our receptionist. The Doctor is very busy.

Sir! by ti dave (4.00 / 1) #5 Wed Mar 02, 2005 at 09:47:43 PM EST
Your untoward request could jeopardise my fictitious internet medical licence.
